Chongqing customs destroyed thousand of fake and infriging motorcycle parts

4.26 World Intellectual Property Day is coming. Chongqing customs intensively destroyed a lot counterfeit and infringing goods for the first time in 2012. 1151pieces of counterfeit and infringing commodities are mainly motorcycle spare parts including switch kits, mufflers and engines covers, etc which were found during commodity inspection at Chongqing Customs. The lot of cargo could not be used on public welfare because their inferior quality has potential dangers and the infringing trademark could not be deleted, so after getting the agreement of right holder, according to Regulations on Customs Protection of Intellectual PropertyRights, Chongqing customs legally destroyed the lot and guaranteed green environmental protection during destruction.
